Heard of Swagbucks but haven't signed up (for free) yet? They've sweetened the deal this month …
Now that the holidays are over, a lot of us — well, me anyway — have gone into savings mode again as we rebuild our bank accounts from all that gift buying!

I use Swagbucks myself, and I've earned hundreds of dollars in Amazon gift cards over a few years.
I've written about Swagbucks a lot on here, because they make it fun. There are contests, and lots of opportunities to earn points (called SB) for things you're probably doing online already, like searching, watching videos, discovering deals, and taking surveys. Then you take those points and exchange them for gift cards to places like Amazon, Starbucks, Walmart, Target, or PayPal cash.
Here's how you get your bonus at Swagbucks
- Sign up using this link.
- Earn 300 SB total before 2/1/17. You'll get a $3 (300 SB) bonus for it! (This isn't hard to do, and you have a few weeks.)
- If you spend at least $25 through Swagbucks Shop you'll get another $2 (200 SB) bonus on top of the cash back you'll get from shopping. (Right now, Adidas, Charming Charlie, Hotels.com, Loxa Beauty, NFL Shop, and dozens more have the best rebates around!) If you have some shopping to do online, just go to Swagbucks first and visit the store through them. It doesn't cost you anything extra, but you'll get SB points for every dollar you spend (on top of the bonus)! (Fine print: You must receive your shopping SB before 3/1/17. They promise me this isn't a big deal, but I have to mention this anyway!)
A couple of extra notes
- With the first 300 SB bonus, you'll instantly have enough for a gift card. Just like that!
- We used Swagbucks for some of our Christmas shopping! As I mentioned above, we redeem our SB for Amazon gift cards. There's a lot of stuff on Amazon.
- My wife used Swagbucks Shop to get me some shirts from JCPenney and we got 8 SB/dollar out of the deal.
- The Daily Goal is a great tool to hit the first bonus. The bonus SB will credit the following month but hitting the first bonus for 7-10 days puts that 300 SB mark right in reach.
Like I said: Swagbucks is about as fun as this gets!
