Larry Winget, in his new book People Are Idiots And I Can Prove It! said that the easiest action plan of all is to do this:
Do anything that's different from the way you have been doing it.
If things are not going the way you want, heading in a different direction can't hurt. I am where I am because of my actions up until this point. And you are where you are because of your actions up to this point.
People do things and change things because it benefits them. That's the way it should be. People should be able to enjoy the fruits of their labor, and if they have don't have as much fruit as they'd like, then they should change the way they work to cause more fruit to come into their lives.
That's the key. Invest in yourself, and find the time to invest in yourself. Become your own change. Don't just ride on the coattails of someone else's change, because you'll probably end up somewhere besides where you want to be.
Hi,
Thanks for reminding me that I am capable of doing anythings if I am willing to be the Change.
I remember in high School, we were required to show steps to prove that Maths equation Statement A = Statement B.
I always find it hard to try to come up with steps to prove the equation from top down … in the end, as you have summarized in bold, I did manage to solve the question in a different way … that is proving it from Down to Up instead of from the top down. 🙂

Good points MBH! Investing in yourself is a way to take responsibility for your situation. It doesn't have to be a huge change, just start small.
Ah…my favorite quote
"We must be the change we wish to see in the world." – Ghandi
I truly believe it and I try hard to live it!
@SimplyForties – I hope you made a mistake in spelling Gandhi. 🙂
Oops, I sure did. That's what I get for commenting so late at night! Sorry about that!
It's pretty good to change direction every now and again anyway since it keeps things fresh. And also, when you change direction it also means you're more enthusiastic about it too. It's a great feeling to be learning or doing something new and different.
